All of the young ladies did a great job. They arrived punctually, sometimes more than 30 minutes earlier than their shift, were always clean and neatly dressed, respectful and compassionate towards their patient. The circumstances under which they worked were at times very difficult, but they retained their composure. In addition they walked the long distance from Mutual Station to Watsonia Road, morning and evening, never complaining.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Robin Trust for the prompt and professional service we were given. I would also like to mention our very special carer Ziyanda Blom.
Ziyanda has been an exceptional carer, deeply caring, very compassionate and skilled. The bond she formed with my parents was special. My parents were both very heart broken when they said goodbye to her. I watched this week how she calmed my mother every time she became emotional, soothed her quietly when she was afraid of falling when she needed the bathroom. Unfortunately the Motor Neurones is progressing very rapidly. My mother’s trust in Ziyanda not to hurt her when she lifted her or drop her was astounding. My mother would not even allow me to help as she only feels safe with Ziyanda.
The next family she works for will be blessed Ziyanda!
I had the most awesome nursing care there in 2015, post hip replacement. the nurses are so caring and friendly and there are so many of them. Robin trust you have done something right in the world of nursing. long may you keep up your good work.
